Makkah Hypermarket is hiring Salesmen for its hypermarket in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. You will keep your section fully stocked, clean and well presented — filling shelves, facing products, maintaining price labels and helping customers find what they need.
The role suits an energetic retail salesman who has worked in a supermarket, hypermarket or retail store, enjoys customer contact and takes pride in neat, well-merchandised shelves.
Responsibilities
- Fill, face and rotate stock on shelves and displays following the section planogram
- Apply FIFO rotation and remove damaged or expired items from the floor
- Keep price labels, shelf talkers and promotional signage accurate and up to date
- Assist customers with product locations, information and alternatives
- Build and maintain promotional displays and gondola ends
- Keep the section clean, organised and safe throughout trading hours
- Support periodic stock counts and report low stock to the section head
- Follow store policies on hygiene, safety and customer service
Requirements
- 1–2 years' retail sales experience; supermarket or hypermarket experience an advantage
- Physically fit — the role involves standing, lifting and shelf-filling through the shift
- Well groomed with a polite, customer-first attitude
- Basic communication in English, Hindi/Urdu or Arabic
- Willing to work shifts, weekends and peak-season hours
- Basic numeracy for labels, counts and stock rotation
- GCC experience an advantage
